Scouting in Halton

RAF Halton has supported Scouting for many years.  The original RAF Halton Scout Group met on the old RAF hospital site and was open to children from RAF Halton and the surrounding area.  The Scout Group started on the16th of April 1929 and closed in 2002, due to the hospital and associated buildings being demolished to make way for a housing estate.

However over the years and after the housing was built, there were increasing number of requests for places in Scouting and thanks to the support of RAF Halton we re-established the group in 2013 and now offer scouting to all 5 Sections, aging from 4 years old to 18 years old.
